Continuous monitoring

Implemented

Your Shopify catalog changes. PROVEN checks it again.

PROVEN monitors relevant Shopify product changes, verifies the current state, and reruns the checks affected by each change. Findings stay current without requiring a manual scan after every update.

How it works

From a product change to updated findings.

Monitoring works as a recheck loop, not as a second copy of the catalog.

  1. 01

    The product changes

PROVEN observes that a relevant Shopify product has changed.

  2. 02

    Read the current state

The product is fetched again so evaluation starts from the current state rather than treating a notification as complete catalog truth.

  3. 03

    Run the relevant checks

Checks affected by the changed domains are rerun while preserving the store’s active detection rules.

  4. 04

    Reconcile findings

Results are reconciled so observed issues reflect the catalog’s new state.

  5. 05

See the result in the app

The app shows the updated state after PROVEN completes the recheck and stores the result.

Current findings

A change can open, resolve, or bring back an issue.

The purpose of monitoring is to keep the issue list aligned with what exists in the catalog now.

01

New issue

If a change introduces a relevant problem, PROVEN can flag it during the recheck.

02

Fixed outside PROVEN

If the problem is no longer detected after an external change, the finding can be resolved.

03

Problem reintroduced

If a resolved problem appears again in the catalog, the finding can return to the open state.

Changes outside PROVEN

Your catalog can change in several places. Monitoring needs to keep up.

Continuous monitoring is designed to recheck relevant catalog changes even when they were made outside PROVEN — for example directly in Shopify or through another integration.

Recovery

Immediate processing is not the only mechanism.

PROVEN also uses a recovery path that rechecks catalog changes that were not processed through the immediate update path. The goal is convergence on the catalog’s real state without manual action for every change.

Clear boundaries

Monitoring does not mean automatic publishing.

Monitoring observes changes, rechecks affected data, updates findings, and informs. Remediation control remains separate.

  • An observed change does not automatically trigger remediation or publish another change to Shopify.
  • Existing approval and remediation rules remain separate from monitoring.
  • The interface refreshes in real time, while the result stored by PROVEN remains the source of truth.
  • Monitoring does not assume the identity of the person behind an external change.

Implemented

Continuous monitoring extends PROVEN from a point-in-time check to ongoing catalog quality control.

The feature is implemented in the app. Monitoring keeps findings aligned with the catalog’s current state, while remediation and publishing remain separate, controlled steps.
