Data Retention

#1. Principle

PROVEN retains data only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, support users, meet legal obligations and protect rights.

#2. Website preferences

Requested preferences such as theme or language remain in the browser until removed or replaced.

#3. Try PROVEN

Data needed to recover an in-progress public check is temporary. Results and associated technical data are not intended as a permanent catalog archive.

#4. Support and security

Public support requests and associated operational records may be retained for up to 12 months unless a legal obligation or dispute requires a different period.

#5. Zenia

The anonymous identifier used for conversation continuity may be retained for up to 180 days. Persisted conversation messages are retained for no more than 12 months.

#6. Installed Shopify app

Store and catalog data is retained while needed for the active service, change history and in-progress operations. On uninstall and applicable Shopify deletion requests, store-scoped data is deleted or de-identified according to applicable obligations.

Original and optimized media artifacts retained for image-optimization verification and restore use Cloudflare R2. Included media-backup retention is 30 days from verified completion of the operation; plan terms may provide a longer period. After the applicable period, artifacts become eligible for deletion through the retention lifecycle. Applicable privacy or uninstall flows may cause earlier deletion.

#7. Commercial and legal records

Records required for billing, accounting, fraud prevention, defense of rights or other legal obligations may be retained for the period required by law or justified by that purpose.

#8. Deletion requests

Personal-data requests can be sent through the privacy contact published in the Privacy Policy.
