Data and privacy

This page gives a practical overview of the data used by each PROVEN service. The Privacy Policy and DPA remain the applicable legal documents.

#PROVEN website

The website uses data needed for operation, security, preferences, and contact. The support form can include your email address, an optional store, and the message you send.

#Try PROVEN

Try PROVEN analyzes only public information it can observe in the submitted store. It does not use Shopify Admin access and does not modify the store.

#Zenia

Zenia uses the conversation messages and relevant PROVEN content to answer. Conversations in one browser are kept separate from those in other browsers or devices.

#Installed Shopify app

After installation, PROVEN can use catalog data and Shopify permissions needed for checks and changes enabled by the merchant. Access is limited to product functions and the permissions granted.

For image optimization, the original and optimized files needed for verification and restore are stored temporarily in Cloudflare R2. The included media backup is kept for 30 days; some plans may provide a longer retention period.

#Retention and deletion

Retention periods differ by data type and are explained in the Retention Policy. Requests concerning personal data can be sent through the contact published in the Privacy Policy.
